EVIL IS ON THE RISE
Welcome to the year 2025. The world is an interesting place. Vampires and shape shifters run free. Magic and normal's live side by side. Is it safe to be out in public unarmed. This is a important question. Here at the portal of Dark Interest you have the ability to commute across the world. To all areas. Only be careful, you might not be welcomed. Together evil is running amok.
Both sides are joining together but which side will win.

The sunlight filtered into the small bedroom casting long patterns on the floor through the blinds. Yawning she covered her mouth and looked at her alarm clock. 2:34 pm. Sitting up she sighed, she had gone to bed at 10:30 the night before. She felt fine, if anything she still felt tired. At least it was Saturday and she didn’t have anything to do aside from the usual errands. Getting out of bed she stretched, like usual she had fallen asleep in her clothing, grabbing a t-shirt she covered the tank, it was rainy outside and that usually made it cooler and tank would not keep her warm. Pulling her hair back in a ponytail she grabbed a baseball cap and was out the door.
She was glad her room had it’s own exit, or else she would be forced to talk to her mother, or step father and neither of them had been pleasant recently. In fact both had been downright nasty and Lux figured it had to do with the fact Kip was acting up. Even though he was the golden boy he had managed to piss off his parents rather well. More so than Lux ever had and yet he hadn’t been thrown out. She laughed at the fact he was asleep in the family car. He must have decided being in the house was too much of a burden.
Heading to her truck she opened the door and was met with the usual grunt of the door. This made her smile. Her Nissan may have looked old and beat up but the thing was well cared for on the inside, the engine was spotless and the interior was much nicer than the original. The shell didn’t matter, besides, if someone saw a nice looking truck they would look on the inside and see the parts were worth taking. The beat up shell made it look as if a chop shop wouldn’t bother with it. The engine roared and she pulled out of the driveway, the gravel on the driveway sprayed as she drove off. The static from the radio was starting to get annoying; she needed to replace the radio. It was still the stock radio and she had been meaning to replace it for a while. Once she left she would need something to keep her entertained. The rain hit the windshield and the brief sunlight faded behind the clouds and Lux sighed.
Pulling into the parking lot at small store she stepped out of her car. She hadn’t planned on going into the store, it was just a place to park while she went into the woods behind the store. It was a nice little trail and she had yet to see another warm body on it and she liked the alone time it would afford her. Picking up a few rocks as she walked down the small tail she followed its winding road and stopped at the small lake and started skipping stones. One, two, three, four, five… before it plopped into the lake.
